Had a nice day escaping the heat and doing some truggy racing at Nor-Cal hobbies. While temps inland reached 106 I was happy to be near the ocean where it held below 90 and made for a great day of racing. I only chose to race Truggy at this event as my buggy is already ready for Nationals. I also don’t have a lot of time on my truggy so wanted to spend some good quality time with it!
The day was graced with around 100 entires in a few different classes and truggy was one of the bigger ones. I was able to take a commanding TQ and victory leading from wire to wire all day in each run. It was a very fun track with lots of air time, huge table tops and of course Mt. Jelich. I always look forward to my time racing at Nor-Cal and I felt it was a good tune-up for the ROAR Nationals coming up this next week!
